Tanjung Tinggi beach is famous for its sterling white water and giant granite rocks spreading throughout the peninsula. Some of the rocks are large enough to form a cave. The beach was also made famous by the novel-based movie “Laskar Pelangi” by Andrea Hirata , where most of the scenes were shot on the island.
